I'm switching some fluorescent lights in my garage to LED. I bought T8 LED bulbs that get power to one end, I'm removing the ballasts, and installing non-shunted tombstones.

Do the tombstones have sides? Like do the black wires always go on the left, and white on right? From what I've seen, I know to keep black and white on the same side between the two tombstones for the two bulbs, but couldn't figure from reading if which side matters as it would for an outlet, etc.

Thanks again!

First, check to make sure you don't already have non-shunted tombstones. If 2 yellow wires go to one end, you're all set and can just use those.

Second, if you do have shunted tombstones, take the LED tubes back and get double-ended ones. The manufacturing cost of single vs double ended is literally a penny, so your supplier is being **that** cheap.

SMH... making you spend $2 a pop on tombstones and 10 minutes of your time selecting the right tombstone and tearing the fixture apart... so China could save a penny. Wow, talk about slave labor...
