Hi DIY-ers,
Just a question regarding whether I need an override shutoff switch on the wall for a Jacuzzi tub.
It has a 3/4 HP, 120V/7.5A motor (microjet system by MAAX) and is being connected (using 14-2) to a 15AMP GCFI breaker so do I need to add a wall switch? Install is being done in Toronto, ON.
If so, is it supposed to be within reach of the tub or out of reach? I've heard a few different opinions on this and i was hoping to get a more reliable answer.
