PVC chamfer edge in laminate tops

I own a small laminate countertop shop in Idaho, and I haven't had the oppurtunity to get too crazy with my work. I am getting pretty good with integrated sinks and custom edges, but I have some competition in my town that has figured out how to inlay colored PVC in the chamfered edge, and I would love to learn how. Has anybody heard of this and if so, how. THANK YOU!!
