PVC and Concrete

Are there any negative reactions that I should expect, if I run a pvc pipe in newly poured concrete? I want to allow for the passage of some drip irrigation tubing from one side of the concrete to the other and I know that caustic is a part of the equation (the concrete...not me:laughing:).

I assume you have not poured the concrete yet. If you have, that is a rather different matter. PVC piping is fine in concrete, no reaction. Just make sure you bury it at least three inches below the surface so you don't get freeze damage to the thin concrete above it.

How did this wind up in the "PC Repairs and Upgrades" section?

I was going to ask that same thing :) PC. PVC. It's all the same isn't it?
