I have removed 4 -5" of concrete and rock from the surface of a living room floor. Way to much weight
. Would like to try an 1 1/2 inch pad of concrete with stucco mesh reinforcement as a replacement surface. Also would like to create a stone looking texture in the concrete for rustic effect plus color the concrete as well. I do not want to use ceramic tile. If anyone has played with this option and has had good results, I would appreciate hearing from you.
