We have a gas fireplace and a gas wall heater we've used for the past couple years. A few days ago we attached a second wall heater to an existing but previously unused gas line.

Now, the heaters won't stay lit. They will light up but after a time, they go out (not at the same time) and the pilot goes out as well. We turned the new one off and turned the valve off but the other heater still goes off. We have not used the fireplace so I'm not sure if it will stay on.

What could be the problem? Air in the line? We were thinking maybe there wasn't enough pressure in the gas line but like I said, the one heater is shutting off even after we closed the valve on the new one.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

They're propane. Each heater is 10K btu and I'm not sure about the fireplace.

The tank is 250 gallons. I'm not sure about the lines. Like I said, though, the one heater is still shutting off even with the other clamped. It's like something got knocked off kilter when we hooked the second one up.

Well if its full. Thats a problem. The tank isn't allowed to be full. Max allowed is 80%. A full LP tank will cause gas flow problems. Call your supplier back out to remove 20%.
