I am having trouble getting this heater to put out any sort of substantial heat. I plumbed it into the boiler loop with 1/2" pex tubing and I'm thinking that is the root of my problem. I have 5 zones in my system and the garage heater is the only heater on that zone. I'm getting good circulation and the boiler system is set at 180 degrees. I live in the Dakota's and it won't even bring the temp up high enough to register on a thermostat. Any ideas on what I could check or change? I'm about ready to just buy a electric garage heater and give up on using hot water? I have a two car insulated garage.... Thanks for any future replies!

What is the entering water temp at the heater, and what is the leaving water temp at the heater.

the grainger catalog calls for 200F inlet temp with a 20F drop going back out,and shows a 1-1/4" inlet supply.if the piping is anything less then that it could be effecting the heat coming off the coils. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/ww...Go!&QueryString=5ut20&submit.x=34&submit.y=11 check the incoming air temp and whats going out.

what temp do you have the contol set at to turn the blower on?
