We moved back to the house I grew up in. The concrete front porch is not level on the side toward the front door. From the front of the porch to the house it slopes about 1 inch down to the house which means when it rains water puddles & stand at the door. It does not come in since the doorway is raised but it needs attention. I have thought of adding a shed roof to cover the rest of the porch which would keep most water out unless it blows from 1 direction. Is the only way to handle a front porch problem like this to bust out & redo & what is involved to do it.
