I painted my doors with SW pro classic paint. I took them down, and waited 4 hours between the two coats I painted. I waited 24 hours before turning them over and painting the two coats on the other side. I then waited 24 more hours for the paint to cure before hanging.

I helped my husband carry the doors up from the basement and can see fingerprints where we carried the doors! I can fix them, but it made me think, How long does it take this paint to fully cure??

I checked the can and looked on the web, but only find the dry time before recoating. No guesses, I want to know for sure.

P.S. Wear some cotton cloth gloves when handling your doors. This will help you avoid the fingerprint issue. Put one coat on, put up the doors, then apply your final coat. That way, you can cover any smudges, marks, etc. that may get on the doors when you are re-installing them.
