Priming new drywall

2175 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  saggdevil
We just finished the drywall phase of our basement finish. We wiped down the walls and vacuumed the floors in preperation for priming. We had knockdown finish applied to our ceiling. Is there going to be a lot of dryall dust on the ceiling? Should we wipe that down as well, or can we just go ahead and prime it?

If there are any zits, lumps, etc. then sand....otherwise just paint.
