So I primed the entire room; trim and walls. Just painted the trim with Glidden high gloss oil based paint and it came out great. Wish I could use oil for everything. In painting the trim with the oil paint, I got some on the walls surrounding the trim. As I will be using latex paint for the walls, is it necessary to go over the areas near the trim that got oil on them with primer first, or can scuffing alone work? All these areas will of course be cut in with a brush as they are right next to the trim. Hoping this doesn't confuse everyone.
