i have a 1972 john deer 110. i cannot figure out how to remove the primary and secondary drive belts for replacment. i looks like alot of doing to get them off, but hopefully there is a easy secret in doing this. could someome please help!
Correct me if I'm wrong but the there's one belt that turns the blades and the other belt runs the hydrolics.
I own 2, John Deeres and used to own an L110 but there all newer then yours.
The easyest way is to remove the whole deck.
there is no hydrolics. it's all manual or belt driven. i do have the deck off aready. i can't seem to find a way to loosen the belts in order to get them off.
No idler to keep tention on the belt?
If you could post the model # I may be able to look up the parts list so I can see what your seeing.
There should be a sticker on it someplace with the model and serial #'s.
