Termites generally fly into their food source every day and return to the ground for water. I don't believe a pressure treated sill plate will keep them from infesting vertical studs higher up.

Termites build mud tunnels around stuff they don't eat to get to stuff they do eat.
PT sills are for rot prevention not termites.

Metal termite shields help to prevent termites. Pt wood does zip. But depending on where you live, you don’t need shields. Where I am, we silicone the top of the foundation and put 3/8” sill sealant material down over that. Silicone again, then first pt sill, silicone again and second sill pt/or untreated. 99% of our foundations are poured concrete, not block.
