I am calculating friction rate loss for some ductwork I may do but I am having trouble locating the EL value for a commercial size air diffuser. If I had a copy of Manual Q , I may find the answer. Anyone know what's the EL value of the air diffuser in my picture? It is the air diffuser in the middle top side of the picture. 2ft by 2ft air diffuser.

thanks

Diffusers/registers are not assigned a TEL. they have PD rates.

EG: .03", or .013" at X CFM.

If that is a Hart&Cooley HV grille, their website has the engineering specs that will list its PD for different CFMs. You then use the PD value of the CFM you need as one of the devices you subtract from your units rated ESP to get your ASP.
