Hi,

I recently power washed some of my concrete driveway. i just used water and no products or chemicals. The driveway is about 8 years old. I will be selling the house next year so thought it would be good to brighten up the driveway. I noticed after power washing that it actually looks worse than before due to these dark areas in the concrete. Does anyone know what these are and how to get rid of them? Thanks.

Ryan

Could be as simple as it's areas you missed.
Hard to tell what your hitting or missing when the whole thing is wet.
How long ago did you clean it, long enough for it to dry out?
Mix up a 50/50 mix of bleach and water in a pump sprayer, spray it on one square, let it sit about 15 min. then rinse it off and let dry to test to see if it's mold.
If it is just do the same thing to the whole driveway.
