Have no need for a light that has power to it. Plan to use a handy box etc.. with wagos for the power wire and neutral. What to do with bare coppere wire? Thanks.

Don't need to do anything special. Just leave it in the box, wrapped away from the black and white.

If you have no need for a light then what are you using the AC power for?

If you are going to put a receptacle there (where none was before) then it needs to be grounded.

If the box is metal connect bare to box and leave in box.
