I am at my wits end.
This is the BVM200VS model. About 9 years old. Just replaced carb, plug, fuel lines, fuel. It will only start on full choke and will run about 10 seconds, then die. I notice when pushing in the fuel primer, it stays in, then very slowly pops out. In order to prime bulb 3x, it takes about 4-5 minutes. Have removed muffler and that is quite clear. I am ready to toss it and buy electric.

Yes, replaced fuel filter too. Symptoms first started out as only running for about 5 seconds, with good throttle response. Then I noticed fuel lines were rotten, so I bought new fuel lines, filter and carb. One note. The new primer stays pushed in for about 30-40 seconds. I tried the old primer and it goes in / out easily, but it is not really moving gas well. Appears to be a lot of air, but I have no idea where from.

sorry, meant to say that I tried priming with the filter removed and still it does not seem to prime, bulb just stays pushed in. Have also tried the old primer bulb, that one will pop back out and quickly, but still is not moving gas. Now thinking either a fuel line leak, or clogged carb (yet it's brand new and has only seen new gas with new filter).
