Hi all -

Sorry if this isn't the right area but I couldn’t find a better place for it. I have a Portable generator in which a part came off and I’ve been back-and-forth with the company to no avail.
Does anyone know what this part is cold and more importantly how it’s installed? Or is this something I should bring to a shop and let someone else handle? I’ve attached a short Clip to help explain what I mean.

Thanks for the help!

that would be a pvc valve and hose recirculating back into the air filter, just get the model # and serial # off of engine, and google small engine parts. What ever webstore you go to you will search for that engine and it will show a breakdown of the parts. If you are unsure on how to do this, post make of engine and hp, and #’s, ill find it for you, you just need a pvc filter, its broke off, no big deal but should be fixed

Hit send too quickly. A rep finally got back to me and seems to think it’s the Manual Choke Assembly. Does that make sense?
No,...... The bit that's broken is the gas tank Vent,......

The hose barb part is broken,......
The hose goes to the backside of the air cleaner, so that the gas fumes are consumed by the motor,.....

Thanks all. Unfortunately pulsar doesn’t have the gas tank vent or connecting pipe. The vent that they have is not the same as the one that broke along with the hose. I’ve attached two pictures of the type that fits. Any ideas? The connecting pipe needs to be about 24” so it will reach from the air filter.

Ayuh,..... Need to see the exact spot it broke,......

Best bet is gonna be fixin' the broken nipple,.....

Probably by drillin' the hole left, Slightly over-sized, 'n gluin' in another plastic nipple,.....

Done right, 'n you can reuse the hose,....
