I have noticed a more consistent popping sound from my master bathroom wall. It appears to be a pop at least once a minute, and it is mostly heard at the quiet time of the night. When the central air is on the entire room will make small pops which i am assuming from the pressure of the air circulating. It disipates when the air is off. Any suggestions?

Where are you located? You might want to update your profile with basic information.

Is this new construction you are living in? I have seen drying douglas fir studs pop drywall nails right out as the dried out.

Where I lived, humidity changes are extreme. Doors and windows you can barely get open and closed in the summer rattle at times with extra space in the dry winter months of January and February. Lots of static electricity sparks too because the air is so dry. I once saw a grand piano top split when it was moved from New Orleans to Chicago in the winter.
