I am investigating whether we can put one of those temporary 15' intex pools near our septic leaching field:

https://www.intexcorp.com/products/above-ground-pools/easy-set/15ft-x-48in-easy-set-pool-set/

See attached as-built plans for our septic system. I was thinking of locating the pool where the black circle is. That would keep the pool > 10' away from our D. Box and tank, but would be over a corner of our leaching field. There is also a space to the right of the tank, but we have a swingset there.

The backyard slopes pretty far, and I think drainage for the leaching field is pretty good.

Understood that the pool should be 10' from all parts of the septic, but is there significant risk in locating the pool in that location?

Temporary for the summer or leaving it there until it is worn out?

Too close. They won't let you do that within that proximity to the drain field in our area.

Where is the back up drain field too?
To my knowledge there's no backup drain field. But, My backyard keeps sloping downward another 30-40 yards, flattens, then you hit the woods. So maybe the thought was that there's enough real estate to absorb water if there was a failure.
