Relocating pool equipment. Existing pool equipment had bond running pump -> light -> ground rod. Pump has been moved to other side of ground rod. Does the replacement bond run:

1. Light -> pump -> ground rod

2. Light -> pump only

3. Light -> ground rod -> pump

Installed plenty of pools and never heard of a ground rod at the pool. Typically a #8 is required to bond all components together. Usually there is a pool junction box that brings all this together.

A ground rod has no purpose at a swimming pool.

The ground rod is the ground rod for the house, not that it matters. I guess we go with option #2.
