Restained a knotty pine ceiling, it dripped ALL OVER my brand new porcelain.

So far, paint thinner and mineral spirits have done nothing. How do I REMOVE THIS OFF MY BRAND NEW TILE? I'm freaking out

lacquer thinner or an acetone based thinner...try some nail polish remover also..

I've sampled the chemicals on spare tile to make sure it doesn't affect the finish (it's more rough than glazed porcelain)

But should I be concerned about putting any of these on my tile?

An employee from home depot said red nail polish spilled all over her brand new ceramic tile, and that nail polish remover removed it all 100% just fine.

I just spent a lot of money and want to be careful!

find an out of the way spot and use a qtip to start...drop clothes should have been used to avoid the problem in the first place..nothing to loose at this point..
