Wd 40 if it's something that just won't come off, probably not epa approved.
This post reminds me of something I learned about 15 years ago from a chemical engineer while at a technical seminar for industrial chemicals.
Any chemical or solution that touches your hands or any part of your skin is in your blood stream in 7 seconds. As tradesmen its common to be around chemicals, cleaners and lubricants, and having our hands in these solutions is common. Some are perfectly harmless and others can cause minor problems like dermatitis. And more severe reactions includes skin burns to cancer.
Just something to think about. Its just common sense but hearing it from a respected authority drives the point home, (
it did for me anyway). I try to keep boxes of rubber gloves in convenient locations.
I have no clue how safe wd40 is. I know I keep several cans around and use it frequently for many purposes. But hand washing isn't one them. :vs_no_no_no:
