I am finishing my basement which is currently roughed in for a bathroom. I am hoping to add a wet bar. The roughed in bathroom has the venting piped off the drain straight through 3 floors to the roof as it should, the drain itslelf runs under the slab to a sump pump. I was hoping to dig up the slab, tap into the drain. But the question I have can I run the vent up from the wet bar sink drain to the ceiling horizontally 10ft to the vent from the bathroom. Or if required can I just punch the vent out through the outside wall at ceiling height which ends up being under our back patio, so it wouldn't be an eyesore.
Basically I'm looking at adding a sink and don't want to have to run the drain vent up 2 floors and through the roof.
