Hi all, I'm working on my basement and have gotten to the point where I am completing the plumbing. I want to pull a permit and wanted to know a few things.
1. Does anyone have an example of what is required to be shown on a permit? I've pulled one for my framing already so I have the basics.
2. My lines are already in the ground that I plan on using for drain, toilet, and shower. I don't know how they connect. Would that be a problem for the inspection? I assume it was accurate prior to them building the home years ago.

#1, No one here knows where you are so impossible to do anything but guess on permit and code questions.
Best one to ask is the local building dept. what they need, there the one's going to pass or fail and inspection.

My state charges per fixture on existing structures- square foot pricing for new work.
You will most likely be quizzed on existing layout under the slab. And the new work will need to be pressure tested to pass inspection so you need to provide methods of sealing off the pipes.
I suggest you purchase your permit, then schedule a consultation at the job site with your inspector.
