My deck is only 8' wide, no plastic or rock
I do have a drin leading off to the side of the house
When I went to pour the cement stair landing it would cut off the drain area
The ground sloped to that side
So I ran the drain pipe thru one corner
Thereis dirt under there
Gravel would prevent me tracking dirt back into the house
I have 2 different storage area access doors under there (storage under sunroom)
Very little grows under there
Some day I will add some rock
