My finished basement space has always been cold, much colder than I believe is appropriate. Think I've found the issue. There is significant cold air infiltration coming through the main breaker box. I'd go check the outside to see if there is a hole, which I suspect there is, but it's 4 degrees atm...

Anyway, for a temporary fix, can I place a piece of saran wrap over the panel door to stop that air from spilling into the room? I won't be touching anything inside of the door panel next to the breakers, just on the outside of the door. I've already added some caulking around the edges of the panel which helped, but the air is just coming through the edges of the door. Thanks.

Sealing the door will make the cold disperse into the surrounding wall. That's not good. Leaving the door open to aid in condensation prevention would be a better option.

Duct seal inside the panel in holes where the main feeder lines come in would probably help considerably. Beware of always live wires in there unless the POCO pulls the meter.
