Our walls are plaster. My son couldn't get posters to stay on his walls so I guess he chose duct tape. Removing the tape was easy, its the adhesive, left behind from several years that I can't remove what advice do ya'll have? I didn't know if I removed the best I could, that adding texture to the paint might cover/hide it?

I'm pretty certain that some paint thinner and a rag will remove duct tape adhesive.
