Not sure if this is the right place for this -- also posted over in carpentry. But here's the question -- any advice on best approach, best suppliers for plantation shutters? I'm (finally) finishing a new bathroom and want them for the lower half in a bay that surrounds a soaking tub. two double-hung, and two smaller fixed on each end! I've done the rest of the woodwork (and its pretty high end) so I'm pretty handy, and want the quality to be up to the rest of the job. I'm pretty sure I want real wood and color match is important (rest of the trim is Linen White). seems like these can add up, and there's a ton of suppliers out there!

Have you not tried to shop for these locally?
I actually was looking up on line -- seems like lots of choices tho. the local stores that offer these too seem to be going to the nat'l manufacturers. and with all the choices i was hoping some folks might have had some experience with some of these folks.
