Curious if certain brand pex fittings are better than the others? Elbows, Tee's, Couplings.

Home depot has a lot of SharkBite brand, Lowes has Apollo brand, and then there are places like PexSupply.com and PexUniverse.com that also have various brands.

Are the supplies from sites like PexSupply and PexUniverse any different or inferior to those at Home Depot or Lowes?

My plumbing supply rattled off a few brands they carry but non were names I ever heard of.

Anyone think a certain brand is better than the other when it comes to brass fittings?

If you plumbing a whole house concider Pex Supply. Just a few then what evers on the shelf at HD or Lowes will work fine.
Shark Bites are ok and easy to work with just very expencive.

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to plan everything out and buy all the supplies beforehand, and then rely on HD or Lowes for any last minute needs.

So you think the quality is the same across the board more or less?

I'm trying to stay away from the SharkBites due to cost, and I can sweat copper if I need to join together.

Anyone think any of these sources is fine for the fittings?

If you look at the prices of ball valves on the Pex Supply site there price is about 1/2 of what the box stores are charging.
I add them on the hot and cold supplys for the tub so if it every needs to be worked on I do not have to shut the whole house down.
I also added tees and shutoffs at the lowest point in case I needed to drain the whole system.
Make sure to run 3/4 main runs and in and out of the water heater for far better flow.
