Peel-Off vs non-peel-off Paste Epoxy

So, I have cracks in my basement to seal. I decided to use low injection epoxy seal. In determining the diy kit, I notice there are two kinds: peel-off and non-peel-off.

I know the difference, but I am wondering if one better than the other. Has anyone use them? Are the plugs snap right off, or do I need to cut them?

I am planning to install extruded polystyrene panels on the basement wall. I am concern that the non-peel will cause the panel not to stick properly to the concrete wall as I tried to create no air gap.

know it sez diy but you determine mtl selection,,, we 'butter' crks w/hydraulic then drill for injection ports,,, sometimes we remove 'butter' but only for aesthetics.

you meant low pressure, right ? anyways, sometimes ports come right out OR they're a large pita,,, any success depends on installer skill & mtl selected,,, i never used surface ports - they're for diy'er wannabee's impo,,, when i learned as the 'helper' it was 5yrs before any installing company let me put my hands on their guarantee.

suggest either do it right OR call a pro - here in atl the rate's about $ 750 for a wall crk including mtl,,, the nice part about it is you don't have to wonder who to call back since you didn't diy

ps - have used appliedtechnologies & had no issues w/their mtl

I had several cracks repaired already by pro who told me nothing more than "I'm done" and give me warranty that they won't leak. I am not sure how to deal with them as i want to insulate the basement properly. Can I just chisel it off?? Will it void the warranty?
most use f/g to insulate & the 'buttering' isn't normally more than 1/16-1/8" thick so that shouldn't negate or measurably diminish any insulation properties,,, even if you were to use foam insulation, i don't see it as a problem leaving it in place..

short answers: 1st - yes since its your house  2nd - don't know, ask them - its their warranty & we've no idea of the work's original intent - weld a broken conc wall OR stop a leaking crack
