Hello, I was putting up trim with a PC finish nailer and when I shot about the 4 nail in a spark came from where the nail went through the wood. Just wondering if this is normal. I have read that it is normal for framing nail guns, but don't know for finish nail guns.

The nail was 2 inch one.

I was putting up some cove molding up around my ceiling and thought two inches would be good to go through the molding, 1/2 drywall and ceiling into the furring. Hopefully I didn't shoot into a electrical wire

Normal, one of the reasons you should be wearing safty glasses.

Yeah, don't worry about it. If you were using it in a room with dimmer lighting you'd see a spark every nail. Completely normal.
