Paver Patio Under a Slope / Drainage

547 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  Bondo
Hi There,
I would like to build a paver patio next to the pond, about 7'x10'. I would leave a foot or so along the back for plants, mulch, and runoff. My concerns before committing are:

1) It is at the low point of my sloping yard (probably drops 1 ft. for every 10 ft. or so).
2) The cinder blocks you see under the fence are a 6 ft. retaining wall. Drainage spouts are built into the wall periodically.

Would these be causes for concern or require additional consideration?

Thanks as always!
