We currently have cinder blocks that we're using as steps from our sliding glass door, but we want to build a patio that will obviously include some brick/stone steps down from the door. The problem is that there's one of the narrow basement windows right next to the cinder block steps (directly under the non-opening side of the sliding glass door). We wanted the new steps to be the width of the entire door but aren't sure how to go about working around the window. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
