Hi all,
I live in what i think is called a "cornish" house, basically the ground floor level is concrete walls that are tiled on the outside, we don't have wall insulation.
I was wondering if its possible to put patio doors in where i have windows....each window is seperated with a concrete pillar. I will try and attach a pic of my style of house.

Hard to tell from the picture if there are steel lintels above the openings. Are these walls poured concrete or concrete block walls?
Where is this house located?
Any similiar houses around with through wall renovations?

Ummmm, I think they're concrete blocks but not a clue if there is steel lintles above the windows. We're in Taunton, Somerset
