Freshly painted 3 coats over original paint. primed all patched holes. sanded and washed wall before painting. applied 3 coats of Dulux paint and still see patchy streaks when viewed from side looking towards bright window. Looks great looking at it straight on or sideways from the other way. it is only looking the one way toward the big bright window.

It will always look that way. The smooth patches don’t have the aged roller stipple from years of painting. The patches are smooth and the rest of the wall is not as smooth. Light is reflecting different off of the patches. Your only true remedy would have been to skim coat the entire wall. I know that’s a pricey, messy, time consuming option, but is the only wall to truly hide the patches and make the wall uniform. Flat paint helps lessen the look but won’t make it totally go away.
