Anyone having trouble with Sherwin Williams Resilience exterior latex. We are using it for board and batten shutters and it is to thick to use in sprayer. We live in Louisiana and because of the humidity it feels tacky even after 48 hours of drying. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've not sprayed Resilience, but I will say that whatever chemical make-up that SW uses to make it "glaze over" quickly to resist moisture, leaves it tacky for quite awhile. It's just one of those specialty paints that can act a bit goofy on you at times. I'd give it at least a couple of weeks to harden up and cure properly, maybe even a bit longer if the humidity is high and I'm sure it is in LA.
