Hi all,

We want to paint our basement floor. Prior to us being here there was what looks like glue on tiles in the basement but has since been removed. Whats left is some orange glue in certain spots on the floor.

My question is, do we need to get rid of glue and if not, what should we be painting over it with? We don't really care if the floor looks flat... its the basement we plan on using it for storage.

We tried using some low voc adhesive remover but it didn't seem to really help too much with the glue removal. If we do need to get up most of this glue, is there a better way to get the glue off?

I have some concrete paint and concrete etching primer left over from another project I was going to try in an area, but I don't know if its worth it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
