Painting old Formica laminate cabinet doors

Please tell me there is something that will stick to formica cabinet doors from the 60s I’ve tried oil base regular primer and I’ve tried extreme bond from Sherwin Williams the next thing I will try is extreme bond oil based

I don't have a paint recommendation...leave that to our pro-painters.

But I will note that I have very successfully tiled over formica by just a good scratch sanding.

Stix, or XIM UMA might be worth a shot.
