I have some metal gutters that were painted 10-15 years ago, and the paint isn't peeling at all. I am painting the rest of my house, and I am wondering if I should paint my gutters too while I am at it. What will make the paint job on my gutters last the longest? Leaving them as is, or putting another coat on them (priming if necessary)?
I also have a tongue and groove front porch that is walked on every day. It also gets some rain and snow on it too. I need to replace all the wood, but what it is best coating for the wood to make it last as long as possible? I prefer the look of paint, but I am open to anything. Should I treat both sides of the wood?
