I have a sunroom addition to my house. I just had new windows installed to replace the cheezy stormwindows that were the only windows in the room. Also added a window AC to cool the room in the summer when we use it from time to time. The room has electric baseboard/wall heaters already installed. The covers are a little rusty and we want to eventually paint the room. My question is...What should I use to paint the Heater Covers? Obviously latax whould be a bad Idea? Thoughts?

epoxy appliance paint wold work and its not too expensive if you only have a small amount to paint. painting over rust isnt a good ideal. you should sand to clean bare metal. some epoxy coatings say direct to rust but it must be tightly adhered and not flaking. painting over rust will not always stop it from spreading.
