ugg, you opened a can of worms here. Thompsons is a parfin wax based product so it will want to repel any type product you put on top of it. That can also tend to make your deck slippery when wet. Is there any chance you didn't check the cup of the boards and just put them in any which way? If so, maybe you can pry the boards up and flip them over. The general rule is to use a semi-transparent oil stain on decks. The words latex and deck should not go together untill they make the latex about 50 times better.
