Has anybody seen or used this new paint from Lowes that has primer in it??? We had a pipe break in our bathroom and have water stain on wall in dining room. I know it all needs to be repainted. I was wondering if this stuff was any good.

also, Any reasong I can pass on to the wife for why the water stains need to be reprimed. Paint color is a dark red, more like maroon. THANKS!

the stains need to be blocked or they will continue to show though the top coats. Use a stain blocker primer like bins. Avoid using cheap paints from Lowes or Home Depot. You are spending more in the long run since these paints will not last as long nor be as workable. Use Benjamin Moore or SW paints. Use a gray tinted primer as an undercoat to red paint.
