Hi, I was wondering what type/grade of sandpaper I should use to sand this wall before I paint again. There was a burlap covering over this pink wall, and when I took the burlap off, there was a residue of the burlap stuck all over the wall. There are also sections where the burlap took a chunk of pink out of the wall. It is not too deep, but it may be noticeable after the sand and paint job. I guess I should sand, then caulk, then paint? I'll attach a few photos.
Caulk is for sealing joints [like the wood trim to the wall] You'd use joint compound or spackling for holes - might require more than one coat [depends on the size of the hole]
ok thanks. It's not exactly a hole, it's just certain places where the pink paint has peeled off, showing the white paint beneath it. Only about a few millimeters thick.
