Hi, I have been trying to paint my bathroom walls for three weeks now. The walls are smooth and have been painted twice before without any problems, however, this time round the paint will not stick and just keeps coming back off with the roller or the brush. I have put a primer on it still does not work. What should i do and if all else fails will wall paper stick ? .

interesting.. since i dont live in this bathroom i dont knwo what could be on the walls preventing it from sticking... i am going to guess and say its hairspray as 80 % of the repaints I have done in a bathroom I have run into this...

have you sanded the walls with a medium grit drywall screen? wiped with TSP (google), primed with a good primer (BIN)? any or all of those will yield good results in getting rid of the material preventing your paint from adhering to the surface.
