I have a couple questions about the drains on my a/c unit, think it is a Goodman. The S line goes directly into the pan and the P wraps around and drains into some plumbing.
1) If I understand from reading about this this primary line should be plugged or capped but not permanent. Cap can be removed to clean out drain.
2) Since condensate is coming from the S line and draining into the pan does this mean the primary is plugged? If so can I pour water or something into the open tube?
Cold air blows from the P line when A/C is running. I guess this is typical. Just rather not cool off the attic but the house.

A image should be attached.

Thanks

S line should not have water at all unless you have drainage issues. P line is ok to cap, if it is stopped up you see water standing in there. If you don't see water standing in there and water is coming out overflow, you have other issues.

I looked down the tube and looked like some moisture in there. I put one gallon of vinegar down it. A small portion came out to the drain pan but seems most went down the primary. I assume I wait a few days and check the pan again to see if the main is unplugged?
I also capped it with a plug and tapped the plug down.
Thanks
