Ever use dilute oxalic acid for tannic acid stains from oak tree? Have a cool deck around my pool, and it has an acrylic outdoor decking coating (paint??). Worth a try?

Thanks

Oxalic acid will tarnish metal, but I don't know of any reason you couldn't use it on an intact painted surface.

Hard to say how effective it would be, but I don't think it would be risky as far as damaging the paint.

OK, well, oxiclean is basically drug store hydrogen peroxide, but hey, good idea! I didnt even think of that! Dump peroxide on the floor/deck, and rub it in.
