overhead service support bracket

Hi, I have an overhead service to the side of my house and then PVC conduit down to the meter. I have a bracket that has a lag bolt that screws into the house(not sure the proper name for it) that the metal support wire from the pole attaches to. We had some pretty high winds and this support pulled out of the house, assuming it was just screwed into plywood sheeting. I called the power company and they said this is my responsibility to fix. How would I go about fixing this as far as putting in a new bracket and hooking the support wire up to the new bracket? Thanks

you need to call them

Call the power company and ask for a temporary power disconnect at the pole so you can work on your service entrance line. Then you can either screw it back into the house or hire an electrician to reattach it for you.
