i have a GE Spacemaker microwave, and i am trying to remove it from the wall. i took the two screws from the top...thats as far as i got. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There should be at least three screws inside the upper cabinet. Then the unit will tilt down and unhook from the back plate at the bottom.

If you can find them online the instructions will show it clearly.

V36: HOLD UP!!!!!!!!!!!! OK First yes take out the screws thru the cabinet. NEXT, remove the plastic grille, dont lose the screws! INSIDE you will see 2 large slotted shafts, they are quikk disconnects: HOLD ON TO THE MW, GIVE THEM A TURN AND THE MW WILL ROTATE DOWN then you can disconnect it fron the backplate by slightly lifting up on the back bottom, it hooks onto that plate
