New Blomberg induction range has wild oven temp fluctuations. My online research tells me that the oven temp sensor could be the culprit and should read 1100 ohms resistance on a multimeter. I unplugged the temp sensor and I get a reading of 543 ohms. I ordered a new PT 500 sensor and the resistance reads the same as the old sensor, or 543 ohms.

I have a digital multimeter but, maybe I'm reading it wrong?

Being that the new and old sensors are checking the same, am I safe in assuming the temp sensor is NOT faulty?

If the temp sensor is good, is the control board the next likely candidate?

Thanks Very Much,
Russell

Thanks for the reply, huesmann.

I set the oven at 350 and it goes to 350. I open the door and put something in the oven and the temp drops down to 250 and won't go back to 350. I turn the oven to 400 trying to get it back to 350 and it goes up to 550. Anything I put in the oven is either undercooked or burned to a crisp.
